This waterfront accommodation is a beautifully furnished one bedroom suite consisting of living room area, dining area and kitchen with cook top, microwave and convection oven, dishwasher and full fridge. Bedroom has a queen sized bed with down duvets or silk duvet for those allergic to down, full closet and dresser. Bathroom is a full four piece with separate, two-person shower, and Japanese style soaker tub. A wood burning fireplace stove provides a warm glow for cool evenings.

Outdoor dining can be on your private patio overlooking the water or on the deck down by the ocean. Bring your favourite reading, or just simply watch nature go by from the comfort of your chaise lounges. Warm and fairly shallow water allows for safe swimming.

B & B includes sumptuous breakfasts using organic eggs and produce.

Booth Canal, Salt Spring Island, BC, Canada

Booth Canal is a long inlet that runs into the northern end of the island from Samsum Narrows. From the head of the bay one can see Vancouver Island and the town of Crofton. The canal is a beautiful place for walking at low tide, and a quiet place to swim as the tide comes in over the hot sand. Early morning mists grace the waters and add mystery to the quiet flight of seabirds. Cloud studded sunsets making the evenings something to treasure.

Directions to Seascape Haven: Starting at the head of Ganges Harbour, take Rainbow Road up past both of the schools you will see on your right. Continue on past the little farms and past Canal Road, again on your right. Follow Rainbow Road past Booth Road to Layard Road and turn right. Follow Layard to the end where it turns into Swan Point. Seascape Haven is straight ahead.

Salt Spring Island is the largest of the Gulf Islands. Situated between Vancouver and Vancouver Island, it is reachable by three ferries. One ferry runs between Long Harbour on eastern Saltspring Island, and Tsawwassen, south of Vancouver on the mainland. A reservation is required for this trip. Another run is between Vesuvius on western Saltspring, and Crofton on eastern Vancouver Island, a short twenty minute trip. The third ferry runs from Swartz Bay, just north of Victoria, BC. The summer time population of Salt Spring is about twenty thousand. Ganges is the largest town and it is situated mid island. There are two major grocery stores, several country malls, numerous retail outlets, restaurants, galleries, plus a downtown park, three sets of docks, and a Farmer's Market on Saturdays. The village of Fulford is situated at the island's south end and is where the Victoria ferry docks when coming in from Swartz Bay. It offers quaint little stores and restaurants. Vesuvius village is on the north-western shore of the island and is fifteen minutes from Seascape Haven. It's a quiet little village with artist's studios and also offers a lovely beach for walking.
